Ion sensors are very versatile sensors used to selectively measure dissolved ions in solution. Standard sensors selected from a catalog that are not optimized to your process/situation often lead to poor performance. But wait! Before you discount these versatile and well established sensors altogether, consider the fact that most ion selective sensors need optimization to perform to expectation. You need expert help to optimize. At United Science, we are sensor materials and sensor optimzation experts. We provide total sensor solutions including optimization, sample conditioning, and datalogger selection. Pre and post sales support, repair and calibration services are all part of the package that you get when you when you buy from United Science.

United Science is commercializing a breakthrough fluorous (i.e. Teflon®-like) ion sensor (ISE) platform innovation based on a technology licensed exclusively from the University of Minnesota. The platform products selectively measure the concentration of chemical species in complex solutions where current sensors cannot currently perform. Key advantages include extreme chemical stability, high selectivity, and unique ion offerings. United Science is focused on deploying the platform to meet customer needs by partnering with market leaders. Key addressable markets that leverage the base sensing platform include first responder, environmental, medical, bio-production, mining, food & beverage, and oil & gas.
Single use ion sensors are used in a variety of industrial settings such as bio-processing. These sensors are configured as 1/4-28 or M6 nuts or Luer Lock fittings. Simply screw the pre conditioned fitting sensor onto the manifold or cross to allow continuous monitoring of a flowing fluid. A calibration routines can be programmed into a valve for easy implementation. If you have two phase solutions, then we recommend passive, low cost bubble removal downstream of the sensor manifold.
Welcome to teraohm imput impedance datalogging. This datalogger is extremely stable and will give a noise free signal even in high EMF environments. It is also useful for making resistance measurements of highly resistant media such as concrete, soil, or insulation. The data is transferred to the handheld unit via RS232 or Bluetooth. The datalogger can be programmed to continuously monitor and store data for up to 1 month without recharging. Data can be periodically downloaded to a Droid or Apple Ipad as long as it is in the range of the datalogger. Great for use in the lab and in the field. Includes data plotting software and real time read out.
These sensors are miniaturized for various laboratory and industrial applications. With an outside diameter of 4 mm, they can be threaded through septa to give access to reaction vessels. Or they can be used in the laboratory. They are built on solid contacts and have no inner filling solution and are configured to measure a wide variety of ions. Reference electrodes utilizing the same form factor must be used with each mini sensor. Teradaq dataloggers provide consistent wireless datalogging performance for your application.
These pre-configured sensor system kits include an array of ion sensors (up to 5), (5) reference electrodes, (1) datalogger, and your choice of Luer lock or 1/4-28 sensor fittings. The kit will include everything you need to get up and running quickly. This will allow you to prototype. If optimization is required, you can use our technical optimization services to custom design a sensor array.
